We find our inspiration in 19th century classic cocktails - back when a cocktail was just one type of mixed drink alongside sours, juleps, daisies, and royales - rejuvenating them through modern techniques, unique ingredients, and unexpected flavor pairings. Our passion lies in finding a way to make an old drink taste excitingly new, yet comfortingly familiar, and above all else, irresistibly delicious.

So went the motto of the original Clover Club, a select group of Philadelphia journalists who, from 1882 until the 1920’s met once a month at the Bellevue Hotel to drink and eat and talk. Here at the new Clover Club, we’ve been striving to follow in those old-time Philadelphians’ footsteps since we opened back in 2008.
